Daniel Ambar is a Deputy Attorney General with the Antitrust Division of the California Department of Justice, where he investigates and litigates antitrust matters across a variety of industries, including media and technology. His work includes competition issues involving platform power, content distribution, and digital markets.
Prior to joining the California Department of Justice, Mr. Ambar practiced antitrust and complex litigation at O’Melveny & Myers and Latham & Watkins, where he worked on major media and technology antitrust matters. He also previously served as product and privacy counsel at WarnerMedia, advising on regulatory issues affecting digital media and entertainment products.
