Antitrust in Action: Enforcement Priorities and the Path Forward
A Conference Hosted by The Capitol Forum and FGS Global
Date: Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm ET
Location: Capital Hilton, 1001 16th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036
As federal agencies recalibrate their approach to merger enforcement, platform regulation, and competition policy, antitrust enforcement in the United States is entering a consequential new phase.
Antitrust in Action, hosted by The Capitol Forum and FGS Global, will convene senior federal regulators, policymakers, legal experts, economists, and industry stakeholders for a timely examination of enforcement priorities and regulatory strategy. Featuring FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, Ryan Baasch, and additional speakers to be announced, this program will provide direct insight into how agencies are approaching competition oversight across telecommunications, technology, media, and other critical sectors.
As markets evolve and technological change accelerates, regulators face mounting questions about the appropriate scope of antitrust enforcement, the role of federal agencies in overseeing competition, and how policy decisions made today will shape innovation, investment, and market structure in the years ahead. This program will explore how enforcement leaders are defining their priorities and what those decisions mean for businesses, investors, and practitioners navigating an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Why This Conference Matters
Antitrust enforcement sits at the center of U.S. economic policy, influencing how markets operate, how companies compete, and how innovation develops. Decisions made by federal regulators and policymakers over the coming year will shape merger activity, platform oversight, and the competitive landscape across key sectors of the economy.
This conference offers attendees a unique opportunity to hear directly from the officials and experts shaping enforcement policy and to gain a deeper understanding of the legal, economic, and regulatory forces defining the future of competition.

Brendan Carr is Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, where he leads the agency’s efforts on telecommunications, technology, and competition policy.
