A former journalist and onetime environmental activist from Northern California, Zack Stentz has been a writer and producer of film and television for over two decades. He has written or co-written the films X-Men: First Class, Thor, Agent Cody Banks, and Rim of the World and is currently developing films for Netflix, Story Kitchen, XYZ Films and others. On the television side, he has written and produced over a hundred hours of television, including The Flash, Fringe, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and several other shows. More recently he created the long-running hit animated shows Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory for Dreamworks Animation, Universal, and Netflix. He also co-wrote the acclaimed young adult novel Colin Fischer for Penguin Books and teaches screenwriting to students in the United States, China, and Nepal.
