On October 3 at 11:00 am, The Capitol Forum will host éclat Law founder and managing partner Kevin Ross-Andino for a conversation on the allegations raised against LifeStance Health by his clients in ongoing litigation against the company. The cases include individual cases and class actions on behalf of numerous former and current LifeStance mental health professionals.
The clinicians allege LifeStance failed to pay minimum wage for all hours worked, generated employer-driven debt, and relies on vague, unenforceable employment agreements, among other things.
According to a press release about one of the class action cases on éclat Law’s website, the allegations include “the employment agreement that LifeStance required their providers to sign is unlawful and unconstitutional—it truly forced employees into a form of indentured servitude to the point where the employee providers are essentially paying LifeStance for the privilege of working for the company.” Read the full complaint here.
The Capitol Forum has written about how LifeStance burdens clinicians with employer-driven debt and the company’s aggressive non-compete agreements newly hired clinicians are required to sign.
Join the conference call to hear Kevin discuss the allegations against LifeStance, how the alleged employment practices harmed his clients, and what he hopes to achieve through litigation against LifeStance.
Please note that registration closes 30 minutes prior to the start of this call. You must register before that time in order to join this session.
