Roger Nober is Director of the George Washington University Regulatory Studies Center and former Chairman of the Surface Transportation Board, where he served from 2002 to 2006. His career includes leadership roles in transportation policy, regulation, and the rail industry, including serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at BNSF Railway. He is widely recognized for his expertise in transportation regulation, rail competition policy, and merger review.
