Carter Dougherty is Senior Fellow for Antimonopoly and Finance at Demand Progress. Previously, he served as Communications Director at Americans for Financial Reform and reported on financial markets, banking, and economic policy for The New York Times and Bloomberg. He is the co-author, with Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, of People, Power, and Profits: Progressive Capitalism for an Age of Discontent. His work focuses on competition, finance, and the role of concentrated economic power in modern markets.
