Throughout the 2024 presidential campaign and first few months in office, President Donald Trump and his cabinet touted their ability to protect workers and small business. No longer is the priority to champion big business, they said. Trump’s policies would instead boost American workers and home-grown companies—part of the broader America First campaign.
