On the face of it, a DOJ suit last week to block Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) attempted takeover of Juniper Networks (JNPR) seemed unlikely. But acting DOJ antitrust chief Omeed Assefi defied the expectations of some and challenged the $14 billion deal.
