The Biden Administration’s approach to trade policy included a rethink of Big Tech’s role in establishing U.S. trade policy priorities.

In contrast, the Trump administration, despite continuing major antitrust litigation against Big Tech, has been vocal in its criticism of European policies and fines that target Silicon Valley tech giants.

Further, an early report from the Trump Administration’s USTR provides additional evidence that Big Tech has a seat at the table when it comes to trade policy.
