Democratic congressional leaders are planning a Monday hearing in Washington, D.C., to examine the alleged political maneuvering that led to DOJ’s settlement with Live Nation Entertainment (LYV), sources familiar with the matter said.
The hearing could provide a glimpse of the future oversight that Democrats would conduct if they take control of the House after the mid-term elections.
The sources said that the Democratic-only hearing will be led by Senator Richard Blumenthal, D-CT, ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and Representative Jamie Raskin, D-MD, who’s in line to become House Judiciary Committee chairman if the party wins the House.
