On September 29, 2026, The Capitol Forum hosted The Future of State and Congressional Antitrust Enforcement, a conference in Washington, D.C., in partnership with FGS Global.
In this closing keynote address, Rep. Jamie Raskin, ranking member of the House Committee on the Judiciary, discussed challenges facing U.S. antitrust enforcement, including political influence, corporate consolidation, and the effects of market concentration on consumers and workers. He also outlined proposals to strengthen oversight, increase transparency, and support more effective federal and state antitrust enforcement.
