Brendan Carr is Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, where he leads the agency’s efforts on telecommunications, technology, and competition policy. He previously served as the FCC’s General Counsel and has been unanimously confirmed by the Senate three times since first being nominated as a Commissioner in 2017. Designated Chairman in 2025, Carr brings more than 20 years of experience in communications and technology law across both public service and private practice.
