Michael Kades is a Partner at Nachawati Law Group, where he leads the firm’s antitrust practice and works with state and local governments on competition enforcement. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Civil Enforcement in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, supervising major investigations and litigation across technology, financial services, airlines and agriculture. Earlier, Kades served as Director of Markets and Competition Policy at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, as antitrust counsel to Sen. Amy Klobuchar, and spent 20 years as an attorney at the Federal Trade Commission.
