Barbara Pianese

Ms. Pianese is a Senior Correspondent covering merger control in Europe for The Capitol Forum. Prior to joining the publication, she was a journalist at the FT Group, where she reported on financial regulation for The Banker in London. From 2018 to 2022, she worked at Mergermarket, also in London, where she spent four years covering mergers and acquisitions across Europe with a particular focus on the consumer sector. She holds an MA in International and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna.
