Kim Geiger

Ms. Geiger is an investigative correspondent. Her work has focused on public policy, politics and lobbying. Based in Chicago, she most recently conducted investigations of casino operators and education providers in Illinois for the Chicago Tribune. She previously covered state government and politics for the Tribune. Prior to that, Ms. Geiger spent several years in Washington, DC, covering special interest influence efforts around health care, food and agriculture, energy regulations and worker safety issues for the Los Angeles Times.

A Northern California native, Ms. Geiger holds a B.A. from UC Santa Cruz and a Master’s in Journalism from UC Berkeley. She lives in Chicago with her husband and two kids. She enjoys skiing and hiking in her free time.
