Uber/Foodpanda: Taiwanese Regulator Meets With Restaurant Operators, Drivers Amid Concerns About Worse Service, Lower Pay

In examining Uber Technologies’ (UBER) proposed acquisition of Delivery Hero’s (DHER) Foodpanda business, Taiwan’s competition regulator met this week with industry participants such as restaurant chain operators and drivers, who have complained about the $950 million deal leading to worse service for food venues and lower pay, respectively.
